Day 2 of Kurukshetra had two football matches scheduled, Arjuna’s A-Team Vs Krishna’s B-Team And Drona and Abhimanyu’s B-Team’s.
Match 1
Arjuna A-Team Vs Krishna B-Team
The match was officiated by Pavakumar Ji, he greeted the players with much repose. The opening toss was won by Team Arjuna. Jaya Krishnan from Team Arjuna shot the first goal on the first shot as the match began, arousing a wave of enthusiasm in the audience. Following which Team Arjuna scored the first goal. The duo of Jk and Gokul scored 2 goals each, and Raj scored the final goal sealing the deal.
Abhishek from Team Krishna scored 2 goals bringing much honour to the Team.
Match 2
Drona B-Team Vs Abhimanyu B-Team.
The second guest of honour was everyone’s favourite Nagendra Pavan Ji. Team Drona won the toss. After a while of a tussle between both the team’s, B team of Drona scored the first goal setting the ball rolling. Both the team’s defences were strong, Team Abhimanyu gave their best but still lost 1- 0.
Abhimanyu A-Team, Arjuna A-Team and Drona’s B Team are enlisted for Semi-Finals. Tomorrow’s match between Arjuna’s B-Team and Krishna’s A-Team will determine who will bag the last entry to the Semi-finals.
